Flu Clinic

It’s that time of year again, kids are back to school and we are already seeing waves of sick children coming through our doors. We strongly encourage everyone over 6 months old to get their flu vaccine. The CDC estimates an average of 34,000 people die from influenza or influenza-related complications every year.  If the entire family receives their flu vaccine, this will provide even greater protection to everyone in your home. For babies under 6 months-old, we strongly urge anyone caring for the baby, including grandparents, babysitters, older siblings, and parents, to get their flu vaccine.

FluMist will not be offered this flu season. Patients of Great Destinations can receive the flu vaccine and have their insurance billed.

Where the Garden Grows Medical Clinic will be offering the flu shot for family members of our patients.(that means moms, dads, aunts/uncles, and even grandparents, too!). Where the Garden Grows leases space in our office for the convenience of those who wish to use their services.
